Anti-Obama Babble Needs To Stop

Seriously, I'm sick of this. It'd be okay to be against Obama's political views, but when you get a school bus of elementary students to chant "assassinate Obama" or tell 16-year-old girls that the American flag will be replaced with a KFC flag, there's something seriously wrong with you. Obama's going to be president starting in January, so stop complaining.

Also, why on Earth does racism still exist? Haven't we proven over the past hundred years that black people are just as capable of doing the same things that white people can do? Not to mention, WHY do we continue to identify each other as "black" or "white"?

It's frustrating. Why haven't we decided yet that skin color is JUST A FEATURE OF A PERSON? It's like an eye color, a weight, or a height; it's a perfectly natural part of being a human being. We need to learn to stop separating white from black and just identify each other as people. And since we've been perfectly capable of pulling this off since the beginning of time, it makes me wonder why it hasn't happened yet.

The same thing needs to happen for gay people too. I don't judge you for your political beliefs. I don't judge you for your moral beliefs. So why do you judge me for my sexual beliefs?

Humans focus on differences to help assess threat levels and benefit opportunities. Since this broad judgment with often minimal effort is efficient in a selfish and narrow-minded way, it takes effort to realize not only does it not work in one's benefit, but that also accountability and admittance of fault is in order. Such is very hard, for no only does it strip away any perceived notion of authority or superiority but brings into question one's ability to make any form of judgment call; especially in time sensitive or critical situations. This is obviously ignoring the likely fact that one mistake is not necessarily indicative of a trend. Plus hate is so much more self-serving and ego boosting than love, which requires self-sacrifice and restraint. Racism is just an extension of this; as is any other bias, including sexuality discrimination.

Yeah, discrimination is fucking stupid, but I think it will always exist. :/ People did it with Hilary too, saying that she was going start a war whenever she had PMS. I really found that offensive, since people weren't taking women seriously and realizing that we can still behave like intelligent adults despite our hormones. But anyway, I don't think Obama is going to be assassinated or anything. There are a hell of a lot more supporters than people who hate him from what I've seen, and they're already having him give speeches inside glass boxes, etc.
